Charlotte has weathered the storm quite well compared to the rest of the nation. I believe this in itself will help with the steady growth of Charlotte. Even the unfortunate series of events with the uptown condo market will not keep people away. Charlotte has a lot to offer and people who have moved here love it so much that they encourage others to follow in their footsteps. Charlotte also has a strong job market, even with the current issues being dealt with at the banks, there are still lots of positives to note like the Time Warner announcement. I think Charlotte is coming out on top.

Likely, but we are in a good location of the US to ride out a storm.
It is already seeping into the Retail Real Estate Industry with delays.
